poor Mimi I fear it is something more serious. Thanks so much for your help I have felt a little better knowing I can get help or opinions from other YorkieLovers. GusGus is so cute. If thats all him in your Yorkie album he looks just like my Mimi except shes always wearing pink. Shes a girly girl, ok maybe I am. You know what the most horrible part of all of this is, I feel very guilty for putting my family through this. The reason is because when I went to choose between her and her brother(which now belongs to my friend)I chose Mimi because she was a tiny adorable-faced little girl. I thought to myself the smaller and cuter the better. I walked away with a vision of Mimi and I both in pink walking by and everyone stopping to admire her. I awaited her anxiously like a mother waits for their child to come home. That is exactly how it was in the beginning until I started to feel a soft spot on top of her head, I asked the vet about it and he said it should close by 3 months. Well Mimi's 3 months and It hasnt closed all the way. The vet said it may be a birth defect and that is why she is so small, he also said she is to be treated like a baby and that she may have other complications in the future if she is not well taken care of. I wish I hadnt been so selfish. But I love Mimi and will do whatever it takes to make her better . |
