Millie is back home now and seems to be doing fine. Her levels are coming down and she is getting mini meals of the royal canin special food she needs to be on for the next 7 days. They will recheck her levels then. She was never vomiting or had diarrhea, thank goodness, and I had done food research and really had thought the Wellness was good, especially from a lot the opinions her. They both appeared to being fine on it for the past 4 months or so they have been on it, but I guess now its back to the drawing board with the food, if she can be slowly put back on regular food. Any other recommendations for dry food? They had been on Merricks before this,but I hesitancies with it and some of the quality control issues. I have also stopped with the Evangers wet food, since I wonder if this was too rich. I had no idea that wrapping her meds in cheese could be so bad, but I will now find another way to get them to take them. Also, she has a sensitive GI tract and has Tagamet (cimetidine) for as needed use, does anyone know if this could be problem as well? I really appreciate all the advice and well wishes!
