Biewers orginated in Germany and have only been imported in the US since 2005. There are several biewer breed clubs located within the US. A german breeder is a member here also. He posts under biewerbaby.
I agree 8 pounds at 3 months is really big puppy for this breed.
Research your breeder carefully.
