i have noticed that even though people say to take them out right after they eat mine wont go until about 4 hours after eating if you are working and couldnt let her out then consistency with the pad would be best also a rule of thumb would be they can hold it as many hours as they are old so yours should have no problem holding it all day in a kennel until you get home from work to let her out. maybe change her feeding times...
