I think ripping apart the deck is drastic measures. If the dog is hurt, that's another story. But if she's content under there, I'm sure she's fine. If she's freezing, she would probably come out voluntarily. I wouldn't try so hard, just let her come out on her own.
My cockapoo, Carmen, goes under our front porch sometimes and you can't sit there and try to get her out, she'll never come. She's too smart. We just act like we're leaving or walking away and then out she comes... she knows if we leave without her, she'll be freezing under there. |
