I was going to suggest the same-and consistancy. My sister in law had a yorkie that used to try to get out the door everytime it opened. One night she was at work and her nephew opened the door and winston got out.He ran to the road and got hit and killed. I made sure I taught my dogs to sit and stay whenever the door opened.
