Although I don't have a yorkie (YET), I have two shihtzus that will not eat from a dog bowl either. When we got them, I was so excited because I found the most beautiful dish (it was $100.00) and I brought it home, and they would sniff their food and walk away.
They will eat off of a flat dish but not a bowl. I thought it was because they have little pushed in faces...but I guess it happens with other breeds as well. Anyway, I just use our dishes to feed them now (a desert plate). I also feed raw food, so it stays on the dish as opposed to kibble.
I really want to find MY yorkie! I am still searching for the right one!
Just serve Prince on a silver tray!
