My Clarence was a yapper when he was young. he was my Mum's & when she passed away he became ours. It didn't take long to get him to stop. Patience. When he'd start barking, I'd get close to him, get his attention & tell him, no, with a sush hand signal. Now all I have to say is Clarence! Sush! with finger up to my lips & he stops.
