My dogs don't sleep in my bed. We'd tried a couple of times but to be honest, I'm just not comfortable. I'm fidgeter and I roll around a lot in my sleep. One night Franklin got out of the kitchen and ran to our door and started pawing at it. My boyfriend and I thought it was cute so we just let him sleep with us. Well, the next night, he started barking and would not stop until we brought him into bed with us. At first we just kept doing it because I had roommates and we live in an apartment so I didn't want to bother them. Then it started to get really old. We decided that we'd had enough so we bought ear plugs and warned our roommates. He barked all night for the first couple of nights but now he sleeps through the night.
If your dog is still a puppy (actually, at any age), I would confine her at night. What do you mean by "it didn't work"? If you don't want to crate her you can buy a playpen or just get a baby gate and close her off in one area. For instance, Franklin sleeps in our kitchen. It's hard at first -- she will whine and bark but you just have to let her do it. The more you give in, the more she will bark the next night when you don't give in. They're fast learners - once they realize it's not working, they give up and go to sleep! You may have a few sleepless nights but it sounds like you already are anyway. Maybe at night you can put down a potty pad so she can go if she needs to?
Good luck!
