I feed raw, but I think a good diet can be achieved many ways. I think what's *most* important is that a person understands a carnivorous diet and what that means to digestion. Second, I think it's important to choose the best possible ingredients and avoid allergens as best you can; all dogs are now terribly set up for allergies due to overvaccination and generations of poor diets. Last, learn what you can about where the food is coming from - who is the company behind it, and where do their ingredients come from, etcetera. If you keep those things top of mind, I don't think you can really go wrong.
