...why they do that?
Johnny's nails leave tracks on the rug when he does it inside.
After peeing or pooping, he will do the scratch-back with all four legs and I always thought it was to cover up what he just did.
At one point, he would do the scratch-back as a signal to go outside.
It is funny.
