 Praise the Lord!!!!
Patience does work. Garrett has been only pad trained. No matter how much I leave the patio door open nor take him for walks, he comes in runs like mad to his pee pad and then goes. Never has accidents, just won't go anywhere but the pad. I have never made a big deal, feeling that as long as he does not go on my carpet, I would accept the pads. Twice he has gone pee outside and you would have thought he won a contest the way I carried on. Today!!! At last!!! at 18 months of age, Gar very nonchalantly did his business outside!!!! He pooped outside!!!!! Benni came trained, except for one setback after a hospitalization, but Gar has stubbornly kept his pee pads! Light at the end of the tunnel!!! |
