The first time he rode in a car he threw up, but I think it was because he was nervous. We had just picked him up from his previous mommy so I'm thinking he just had a lot going on. I'm calling my vet tomorrow to see if there is anything he could take to help with the nausea. Has anyone heard of anything that's SAFE for them to take to help with this?

I took mine to Illinois last year(850 miles) and 4 little dogs. We have a van, so took the back seats out, laid down pee pads, and took a water bowl and food. Also put 3 beds in the back. Ginger snap cookies are good to give him if he gets a little car sick. Hope you have a nice trip. How long are you staying for?
