I didn't mention that we have hawks and coyotes out here. I have heard many dogs screaming at night outside with a pack of coyotes howling. My dogs do NOT go outside at night without my supervision. And Teddy potty's on potty pads because I will not let him outside without me because he would be an easy target for hawks or owls, he only weighs 4 lbs.
We don't get animal control out here unless it is posing a serious threat. But coyotes, and semis take care of most of the loose dogs
But I have picked up and taken many dogs to the closest shelter.
