Mine does this too and he is a boy, no allergies as well. I think it just makes them feel good. Mine does it a lot after bath as well. I think he wants his old scent back and doesn't like the new scent on him oh well
He also does it after each meal. If I clean his mouth with a damp washcloth, he does it to dry himself. If I forgot to clean his mouth, he does it to clean it himself
