I am so happy to hear that you have already found your next furbaby to love and cuddle. I completely agree with getting a new puppy as soon as possible after losing one, even though some people are not able to. I lost my mini schnauzer girl in April, unexpectedly, and thru the devastation I immediately put a deposit on a Yorkie that I got 6 weeks later. Best thing I did, she brought back joy to our lives, so much we even got another pup 3 months later. I was so lost for a while that I bought a schnauzer stuffed animal just to have something to hold, hug and sleep with, while waiting for the new puppy.
