I am VERY allergic to dogs & especially cats.....I can't deal with cats at all.
My allergies are Horrible! I get the works....stuffy/runny nose, sneezing, itchy-watery eyes, & I get asthma triggered from allergies.

Cats, I can't do anything about.....no matter what medications I have taken or whatever procedures, I just can't take them. They make me feel really miserable.

Dogs are not as bad for me, but I still get allergy attacks pretty bad.

We just got Rocky, our 9 week old Yorkie, on Wednesday & I have to say that it's not that bad! Yes, Yorkies are hypoallergenic dogs, but that does not mean that allergies won't be triggered by them. Sometimes, he still causes me to get asthma, but I have my inhaler ready in my purse all the time. What I have been doing since bringing Rocky home is take 1 Clartin a day....this definitely has helped a lot & makes my allergies not so bad. I am learning to adjust to them....Rocky definitely means so much more to me.....I don't care how I feel or if I need to take medicine for the rest of my life...he is like my own child & I absolutely love him.

Best of luck to you & your fiance! Let us know if you guys do get a Yorkie!!!
