I made her first vet visit for this Friday. The lady I adopted her from had never taken her, she has had no vaccinations, deworming, nor her tail docked. I had actually made arrangements to get another puppy from a local breeder, but then I saw Bella, and since she was very inexpensive for a yorkie ($300!!) and had never been to vet, I decided she of all puppies needed a good home because I was afraid whoever adopted her ( since she was not very expensive ) may not followup with proper care... and she is so sweet! I actually don't think I will have her tail docked, It is so darn cute when she wags it and at 8 weeks, it will probably be painful!! |
I am so pleased that you got this baby... I know by reading your post she will be looked after well... I just so worry about parvo.. got a 6 month old 5 years ago.. was told by the show breeder all shots were given.. she got parvo.. and her temperment was so bad all she wanted to do is kill my other dogs.. she lived as I got her to the vet straight away and not my daughter has her.. now she is 5 and is a wonderful dog.. but it took lots of training.. she cannot take her for a leash walk tho.. anne
