Thank you for all the warm welcomes! That is Bella in my avatar on her ride home... though the angle makes her look rather large, she tops the scale at about 2 lbs.
I made her first vet visit for this Friday. The lady I adopted her from had never taken her, she has had no vaccinations, deworming, nor her tail docked. I had actually made arrangements to get another puppy from a local breeder, but then I saw Bella, and since she was very inexpensive for a yorkie ($300!!) and had never been to vet, I decided she of all puppies needed a good home because I was afraid whoever adopted her ( since she was not very expensive ) may not followup with proper care... and she is so sweet! I actually don't think I will have her tail docked, It is so darn cute when she wags it and at 8 weeks, it will probably be painful!! |
