Let me tell you I have 4 children and I would never put them on a leash. I have never and I never lost sight of any of them ever. Children are not pets and should not be put on a leash. I say if you can't control your own kids and keep an eye on them then maybe stay home. I think it's very sad when you see someone with one child and they are on a leash. Maybe use a stroller or put them in a shopping cart or try just hold their hand. I did it and believe me it wasn't easy to watch all 4 of them but I did not have to resort to such tactics. My kids listened to me and were well behaved. You asked for my opinion sorry if it soulds harsh but having kids isn't easy.
