My 8mnth, 3lb yorkie jumped off my bed and broke both front legs-radial ulnas. It was a terrible mistake ever putting him up on the bed with me while I worked on my lap top. He cried like I had never heard before and of course he was not moving due to it being both front legs. I am really missing him since he had to have surgery and can't come home till Tues. I feel so helpless without him! What can I expect from his recovery, will he always be in pain or will that subside with healing, what can I do to make sure he doesn't hurt himself again? Please any suggestions I haven't mentioned if you have experienced first hand broken legs? Thanks BabyTheo's Mom.
