Default Unreasonable Fear

My Yorkie AJ, who I have had for 10 months, who is nearly 2 years old now... is suddenly behaving very odly...

He is scared to death of a sound.....

As I type, he is hiding under the desk (which is unusual for him), because of this sound I made several hours ago. It is so weird...

The sound?? It is just kind of like a fart-sound you can make with your lips.

I was on the phone with my mom earlier today and told her about it, and made the sound into the phone, and ever since then, he is acting as if he is scared to death. Trembling and everything.

If I call to him, he will come, but again, acting all fearful. (and I haven't made the sound since I was on the phone a while ago)

The first time I made the sound was just yesterday, when I was just playing around with him, and instead of a kissing sound when I kissed his neck, I made the farting sound, and his reaction then made me laugh.

But now I am wondering if he has some kind of neurosis. This is just plain weird.

I'm not about to take him to a therapist, but I sure would like to know what is going on in that little head of his.
