You will probably have a hard time finding a yorkie to show. show breeders are very cautious about who they will sell a show prospect to, and if they do I can assure you it will be a male first. You will more than likey get it on a co-ownership contract until you finish the dog. You need to find someone that shows in your area and contact them and see if they will be your mentor and would be willing to sell you a show dog. You will have to prove yourself before they will agree to a sale. I know how hard it was for me, but now I have been accepted into the show circuit. A lot of people say they want to show but after a year or two, if they do not win and get a lot of points right away they quit, which bothers the true show people. It is a hobby, but it is an expensive hobby.
