 Dry skin and oil hair
Prince had this problem, too. His head was oily and his body was dry. His groomer told me that the dry skin has to do with diet. She said to try switching him to a different food and see if there are any changes. He's eating Innova EVO food and he's doing great.
I bathe him every two weeks and I clean him with a spray I got at Whole Foods as a touch up in between. The shampoo I use is the Halo brand. Then I rinse him off with rosemary tea. You just make the tea before you bathe him and let it cool while you shampoo him. The rosemary tea acts as a conditioner and finisher. The coat will get really nice and shiny and is much healthier than conditioners. |
