I'm so sorry. I do not know much about liver shunt but do know there are different types. Sometimes it can be controlled with a special diet or fixed with a simple operation. There are organizations that might be able to help, either financially or by taking the puppy and getting the surgery done. Fanny Mae Liver Shunt Fund or United Yorkie Rescue are two that I know.
