Shaz,so sorry to hear about your little dog.
I had to have my old dog put down last year.I didnt think I would ever get over it. I burst out crying all the time for ages.
When your dog is so poorly, you spend all your time trying to get them better...loving them, cuddling them, crying over them. Then all of a sudden you have to make the decision to stop all that and end their life....but...
you are still doing what is best for them.
At some point it starts to be unfair to let them carry on living with their pain and feeling so poorly. Im sure that you made the right decision, and in time it will get easier to bear.
I have Willows ashes at home, and now I can smile and remember the good times we had together.
You will feel better I promise, but give youself time to grieve, and let your 2 little pups help to ease that pain.
big hug to you..xx
