 This may be way off!
But my Sophie dog, 14 months old, does this same thing when she is trying to hide something. Her favorite bone, a toy, something she found. She is mimicking what she would do if she had dirt around. It's very funny to the rest of us, but she seems very serious about the whole affair. Just a thought! |
