Does anyone use a holistic vet? I was thinking of taking my girls in and actually made the appt, but when I found out it was $180 to get a comprehensive exam on ONE of my girls I cancelled. So what I want to know is is it worth the money going to a holistic vet versus a regular vet?


Next question is actually about insurance: My poodle was diagnosed with gastritis would it be worth getting insurance now because 1. its preexisting so I know it won't be covered and 2. a gastritis diagnosis could really be a blanket preexisting condition for lots of things. I just don't want to waste my money on insurance just to fight over getting reimbursed due to the gastritis, and the ins. co linking other things to the gastritis, therefore not reimbursing me.
