I lucky in that I have a large number of brands available to me. I have 2 really good "natural" pet food stores within 1/2 hr drive or less.
I just am not sure what to switch him to at 12 months to get the fat down.
EVO is 43% protein and 22% fat.
Orijen is 42% protein and 16% fat.
Orijen seems close to keeping the protein up and getting the fat down.
I also looked at:
CA Natural Adult Lamb but it is only 21% protein and 11% fat.
Innova Adult is a little higher at only 24%protein and 14% fat.

He has been eatting a few pieces ot the CA Natural mixed with his EVO (from a sample pack) and likes it alot.
