Also just wanted to add because I almost forgot but I had been concerned lately about Stormy's rib cage. One side feels normal like it should but one side felt strange to me. After pointing this out to the vet today he checked her out and came to the conclusion that she must have had the side that that felt strange broken that was not taken care of and did not heal correctly. It is what it is now and nothing we can do about it now. This was horrible to hear that my poor baby was hurt and not taken care of. I noticed this because the day we brought her in she was breathing very heavily since her nose was stuffed with fluid and when she would breathe in and out the one side you could feel and hear it would feel like a clicking sound. You can really notice when you feel it, the ribs did not fuse back together. The vet said that it is possible she was born this way but from the feel of it that isn't the case, it just feels like they were broken some how and never fixed. Just thought I'd share this information, my poor baby has went through SO much in her short life so far! |
