Omg

My 4 year old male Yorkie (5.4 lbs.) had an absolutely horrible reaction to his vaccinations. He had his shots on a Wednesday, I had to miss work the next day to take him back to the vet. He was very listless and dehydrated. On Friday, I stayed home with him because my husband and I thought he was dying. He wouldn't eat, drink nor stand up. Friday night we took him to an emergency hospital...more IV's and tears. We had to feed him baby food with a syringe!! He started to feel a little better after a week!!!!!!!!!
I had told the vet that I wanted him to have half of the dosage because of previous problems but I think she gave him the full amount.
I don't know what I'm going to do next year. We can NOT go through that again. I've been doing a lot of research online about what is absolutely necessary based on your dog's lifestyle and enviroment. (He is not around other dogs and uses a potty pad).
One little injection has several meds in it. A lot of dogs, mostly small, die from vaccinations!!
