That happened to Roxie and I took her in and because the swelling was making her stitches pull the vet gave her an antibiotic and a little steroid to reduce the swelling. She didn't seem bothered by it but the vet was concerned that the stitches would pull out due to the swelling and that it may be uncomfortable. Maybe just call the vet and see if they feel she needs to be seen. |
