My daughter also has allergies. I have 3 yorkies and she has been just fine with them. We just find that if she really plays with them she needs to wash her hands after because her eyes and nose start up. It is really not too bad my daughter really has allergies bad when she goes to her friends house who has a german shepherd she has to bring her benedryl. Overall I'd really have to say it hasn't been an issue. Good luck with your baby!
