I guarantee 3 years for genetic health issues like liver shunt ect...1 year for a grade 4 LP because LP can be caused by injury. I will, however, take back any puppy that anyone is not happy with. When I guarantee it's up to the purchase price with a letter from a licensed vet saying the health issue is genetic preferrably 2 opinions, one from the buyers vet and one from my vet if the new owners want to keep the puppy or they return the puppy to me and get a full refund if the puppy has genetic health problems. Over/under bites are not a life threatening issue so therefore most do not cover it in a health guarantee. I breed for show dogs and if a puppy has an under or over shot bite I place as a pet but that is just a cosmetic issue not a health issue.
Reputable breeders stand behind their breedings and breed for the betterment of the breed and breed out as best they can health issues.
