Teddi had/has a Coccidia infection too! One day he pooped inside the house and I noticed some blood in his poop!
Luckily my bf was able to take him to the vet as soon as they opened that day. The vet gave him an injection, plus told us to give him this liquid med for the nasty protozoan and small doses of this pill for diarrhea daily during one of his meals. We had to feed him plain boiled chicken and rice for a few days. He didn't poop for the first 2 days but now he poops more regularly and no blood. Although I found him eating some of his poop yesterday.
We're gonna take him back to the vet for another checkup. Hopefully there'll be good news...!
