Ok, it's been a week and 3 days today since Fiona got spayed. She did great, she is eating, drinking, and I am still keeping her low key, however, her spay incision to me, still looks a bit puffy, nothing is oozing out of it, not bleeding, no foul odors, nothing, just looks sorta puffy. I cleaned it real good last night with cotton balls saturated with water and johnson and johnsons baby wash, dried it real well and put some neosporin on it. This morning, it looked a little bit better. She does not bother it at all, and we have been keeping it nice and dry. Do you think I should call the vet, or just keep looking at it?! Since I was a vet tech, it doesn't look all that bad to me, but, she does seem to feel a bit hot on her body as well, which can be infection? Money is tight until next week...what do you all think I should do? She is not acting any differently by all means, still has a great appetite, drinking, playing, going to the bathroom!?
