Hello everyone!
I'm new to this site....my husband & I just adopted our first Yorkie puppy 2 days ago & we absolutely adore him!!! We both work the same hours (8:15 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) & we have no one to leave Rocky (our puppy) with? Is it ok to leave him home alone? I'm really worried about him, but both of us have to work. He is currently 9 weeks old & we're currently working on trying to train him (using wee wee pads). He has had a couple of accidents, but he does sometimes pee on the pads (which we praise him for every time)....anyways, it breaks my heart to leave him every morning because he whines & cries & then barks a bit.....is there something I can do? I hate being cruel & I hate leaving him alone. Oh, before we leave, we turn on the radio for him (not to loud, but plays Christmas songs)......will this drive him crazy thinking that someone is there? Thank you all for your time!
