I think Annie B would have been considered a red legged Yorkie. The hair on her head and legs was definitely red, she had red "highlight" on her body, no silver at all. The hair on the top of her head and her ears never grew, I never had to trim it. Her legs grew a little, I would trim them maybe once or twice a year. Her body hair grew, I would cut it monthly in the summer time, but she never got the really long hair like you see on other Yorkies.
This picture doesn't show her color real good, but you can see the hair on her head and ears, this is as long as it ever got. |
