Default reiki for dogs

My reiki therapist is an amazingly talented person. She first and foremost is an animal lover, has horses and dogs, a golden, reck and a shepard. She teaches horseback riding, and therapy for people using horseback. She has a wellness center, is a pilates instructor, offers other holistic modalities and is developing a new reiki technique - an amazing experience.

Through her training both with animals and humans she has an in depth knowledge of the phsyical structures- skeletal muscular, etc. She speaks like a physician or vet.

While she does not profess to have those degrees she does apply her knowledge to tend to healing with reiki. Her clients wait in line, and her clients also freely bring in their pets.

As for reiki, dogs and cats respond well and when you see them you agree, they bask in the experience. I watched my yorkie in total esctacy get up and bounce around like a pup-- she felt relieved, recharged and wanted to play.

The reiki itself is just a light touch, or hands over not on the pet, so there is no hard hands-on that takes place.

I am sure there are plenty of folks who would work with pets--good luck. We are just very spoiled with such a wonderful and giving person who is changing the lives of my family and our wonderful yorkie!
