i think second hand smoke is very bad for them(they also have VERy sensitive little noses), and it's really nice of you to think about this issue before bringing your doggie home.
milu barks when she sees people smoke.(and she really rarely barks!) i think maybe she thinks people are on fire or something. she is like "omg! you are on fire!!!" she also barks if she sees people smoking on TV or in the movies. it is REALLY FUNNY!
so maybe your dog won't let you smoke near it without barking your ears off!
