I take it all as a big compliment! My vet told some people that he wants to come back as a yorkie in his next life and have me as an owner b/c of the way I treat Simon and Hallie
I take my dogs to daycare, use my family vacation for them, gave up half of my living room for their condo and would give up anything for them. If anyone ever said to me "they are just dogs" I would kick them out of my apartment and tell them to never come back!
My mom totally understands and is a little "crazy" herself, she sends Simon and Hallie emails all the time and talks to them on the phone! My dad on the other hand thinks I'm out of my mind but I'm ok with that! My friends may think I'm crazy but I'm always the first person they ask to puppy-sit so I must not be that crazy
