I am in the same predicament. We live in an apartment as well. We have him in the crate ranging from 4 - 8 hours since I work full time and he goes to school full time. I've made a habit to make sure that we don't go to sleep until he does his duties so that he doesn't potty in the crate at night and he's really good about letting me know at night when he has to potty. I haven't been able to get Noah to even potty out side. It so cold out now that he just stands there and shivers. I would love to train him to go outside but its hard to get him to go on the puppy pads. There's times when he knows he suppose to go on the pads and just walks to them and does his duties. But other times he just does his duties where ever he feels. |
