Anyway thank you for posting that video. It brought back the year my boys were small and didn't get what they wanted for Christmas because it was over the top. They were so upset that I decided right then they would not get anything next Christmas. Starting in July I taught them how to mix, pour, fire and paint ceramic pieces for gifts. I also bought a book on dough art and they made, baked and painted what they molded by hand and by cutters. Two wrote poems and one drew different pictures. They had such a wonderful time. Then before Christmas we took some things to the old folks home and some just cried. That about tore my boys heart out. We then took some things to kids who were in the hospital that were either not doing well at all, or were from poor homes. They were totally humbled. My boys are grown men, and they still talk about that Christmas and how it changed their view on Christmas. Now it's wonderful to see how they manage to do the same with their kids.
