 Potty training woes
Greetings,
First I would like to introduce my dog Loui he is now 4.5 months and 2.5 lbs. Knows to sit, lay down, and fetch.
Now on to the tough stuff. We began housetraining him with puppy pads until last week, when our vet told us that we need to take him outside as he was tearing the padds apart and good get a small bowel clog or something. We live in an apartment and we take him down 1 flight of stairs to eleminate.
The problem: He needs to go a lot at night enough so that everytime we take him out he goes. But in the morning we feed him around 6:30. My wife takes him out until she has to go to work at 8:30 he will usually go pee but not poop. Then in the 4 hours he is inside he poops in his crate. And as all you know this is not pleasent. We blocked off alot of his crate. And it continues.
Please any advice as it is very upsetting.
