Honestly, I sometimes do not think some vets know how to properly intubate yorkies, or perhaps the right equipment just doesn't exist. My Marcel had issues after his neuter (with his gag being triggered for 2 weeks, post surgery; I think the nerve bundle was overly irritated) -- and I am totally sure it is from the intubation. Makes me wonder what is happening and what needs to happen instead.
