Hi there! I am new to this site....but have been reading all of the wonderful posts (great information). I am not sure if I should be a member yet...because I don't own a yorkie yet.
We have two shihtzus (a brother and sister) that are now 1 1/2 years old. They are my babies and I love them! I have had the puppy itch again, for quite some time and I just love yorkies. So here are my questions....
Should I be looking for a male or female to introduce to this close brother and sister team?
Syd and Lexy (my shihtzus) have their routine -- how do you think they would do with another little pup? I guess I just want to do the right thing for the two I have...and also, for a new addition. I am not sure if I should just leave things the way they are -- or add on to the family.
Lexy is alpha and Syd is a little more passive. We still have trouble on our walks (Syd barks uncontrolably at every dog he sees)...but is not an aggressive guy.
Any suggestions/opinions would be greatly appreciated.
