isn't it SO hard? I guess it depends on if you want a puppy now or if you want to wait. Our breeder didn't do "genetic" testing but all her females and males are tested for LP and liver shunt. Layla also came with a health contract. I put a deposit down on a puppy before the litter was even born and I was very lucky to get a pick from 3 girls. I also think it depends on how comfortable you feel with the breeder- I'm sure whatever choice you make you will be happy! Just because a dog has been genetically tested doens't mean health issues won't come up
