MANY vets have no idea how to whelp a litter from a yorkie. They are not like whelping a bigger dog. So many things can and do go wrong. For one thing, 4 hours after the water breaks is TOO long. Mine has had 2 litters and neither time did her "water break". Not so I could tell. She would be due 63 days from her ovulation date. Without a test to tell when she was ovulating, your next best guess is 63 days from the first tie. From now until she delivers I would not leave her alone at all. I think I would call around and see if you can find another vet nearby that has some experience with whelping issues and toy dogs. I wish you luck with your girl and hope all goes well.
