This is entirely strange.
At age 2 with no history of hypo, that is unlikely, especially if they ate a few hours ago. It could be but...I would doubt it.
If the karo helped, that is a sign of hypo but for both of them at the same time? Vomiting, scratching, swollen face, shock... would say allergies. Shaking could but I'd think they would've gotten worse.
I would question the treats and if they got scared of the steam cleaner but that is odd that the karo stopped it.
