Get the puppy in asap to the vet, they're the best ones to express them. I just got up to a HUGE mess yesterday(cost me $220), my yorkies anal glands were full(she was scooting a lot, but, she does quite a bit to begin with), anyway, I got up to poop on the kitchen floor, all over my leather sectional and the carpet. They can also rupture which is not a pleasant thing. My moms dogs anal glands ruptured when we were in to about 200 miles of an 850 mile trip, that was a nightmare..
